Shirley Mae Venning-Miles, the daughter of Thomas Venning Sr. and the late Mattie Mae Venning, was born on May 31, 1959 in New York, New York. Shirley attended the High School of Fashion Industries from 1973 to 1977, where she learned more about fashion. Following after school, she made a career as a special representative in Bell Atlantic, which later changed to Verizon. In 1984, Shirley met her soul mate, Marshall Miles. The following year, they were married and eventually created their own little Miles family in 1990. Shirley leaves behind so many beautiful memories with her family and friends. Shirley will forever be remembered as an amazing, friendly, wonderful soul, always smiling, always dancing, cheerful woman. Shirley leaves behind: her husband, Marshall Miles; her daughters, Michelle Simone Miles, Trinessa Brown-Hobson, and Tasha Pryor; her grandkids, Antoine, Laila, Akeyla, Jayden and Jaivon; her loving siblings, Kathleen, Thomas Jr., Sheila, and Timothy; her father, Thomas Sr. and all her family and friends.
