Sharon Lagale Dudley departed this life on April 13, 2023. Sharon Dudley was born to Helen Mary Dudley and Walis Rock (was raised by Leroy Thomas) on September 28, 1969, in Harlem, New York. Sharon was a strong and independent woman who impacted every life she touched with love and acceptance. She wasn't your average Christian but always accepted God into her life.

She had a presence that was unbeatable and a smile that could give you a run for your money, and a heart of gold that wanted nothing but happiness for everyone. Sharon was extremely talented, and anyone that you ask would also agree. A dancer, a hairstylist, a track runner, a fashion icon, etc., if she was able to do it, she perfected it. Sharon gave a presence of life that everyone who knew or even met her remembered. Sharon was one remarkable person. No matter how much pain she was in, you would never know; she kept a smile on her face. The things she enjoyed and loved the most were music, dancing, watching movies, and her friends, family, kids, and grandchildren.

One of Sharon Dudley's greatest achievements was her eight kids, raising them to be strong and self-made just as she was. A loving mother who wanted and saw nothing but the best in her kids, she wasn't afraid to tell her kids or even anyone what was right and what was wrong, no matter how harsh it may sound. Sharon wanted everyone to succeed, even if that meant stopping her life to make another happy. She never asked for much but gave so much, even the clothes off her back.

Sharon leaves to cherish fond memories: her children, Recco Dudley, Roriese Dudley, Ruben Dudley (his spouse and daughter-in-law, Christina Santana-Gomez-Dudley), Rykim Dudley (his spouse and daughter-in-law, Amanda Roman), Ryan Dudley, Ravon Dudley, Sharika Dudley, Allene Hodge, Jahquawn Lane, and Porsha Quarles; grandchildren, Iyanah Dudley, Imyrah Dudley, Recco Dudley Jr, Royalty Dudley, Rhythm Dudley, Dejanae Dudley, Roriese Dudley Jr, Royal Dudley, Rylei Dudley, Rori Dudley, Rhy'on McKenzie, Rhy'mir Dudley, Neveah Singletary, Ruben Dudley Jr, Romeo Dudley, Raiden Dudley, Remedy Dudley; Rykim Dudley Jr., Jenesys Dudley, Ryanah Dudley, Justice Dudley, Ryan Dudley Jr, Ryder Dudley, Heidi Dudley, Ceaser Dejesus, Zianni Santiago, and Zarah Santiago; aunts and uncles, Elsie McNair, Martha Barnes, Justine McKoy, Wanda McCorkle, Elliot Dudley, Lynn Dudley, John McNair, Early McKoy, and Wanda Hayes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and neighbors.
