Santa Martinez Rodriguez, nickname Sugar, 79 years old, passed away on August 25th, 2023 and resided in Manhattan.

She was born on November 1st, 1943, All Saints Day, to the proud parents of Luis Martinez and Asuncion Hernandez in Pounce, Puerto Rico.

Santa M. Rodriguez graduated from Commander Shea Junior High School and obtained her GED.

She worked with the New York City School Service Office as Administrator and retired.

Santa Martinez Rodriguez is survived by her two daughters, Arlene Martinez and Alice R. Seda, and her son Louis Rodriguez, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luis Martinez, mother Asuncion Hernandez; her siblings Pete Hernandez, Milagros Martinez, and Juana Figueroa, nieces Ruthie Martinez, and Edith Reyes.
