On March 15, 2022 at St. Barnabas Hospital Sandra C. Lowery Britt transitioned with family by her side. She was 53 years old. Sandra C. Lowery of New York was born on May 9, 1968 to Annie Lowery and the late Nathaniel Lowery II. She attended Morris High School in the Bronx, New York. Sandra met her first love James Earl Britt when they were 14 years old. She married James Earl Britt on September 22, 1995. They had three beautiful children, Erica, Dominique, and Letroy. Sandra loved working, shopping, playing cards, and entertaining friends. She worked for nearly two decades at Pace University. Sandra, affectionately known as "Sandy", made friends everywhere she went. She loved her family. Her door was always open to all. Sandra was preceded in death by her dad, Nathaniel Lowery II. Sandra, a loving mother and grandmother, leaves to mourn and cherish precious memories: her children, Erica J. Lowery, Dominique S.S. Eastman, and Letroy E. Lowery; six grandchildren; her mom, Annie Lowery; her sister, Barbara Lowery; her brothers, Nathaniel Lowery III, and Dwane Lowery; sister-in-law, Judith Lowery; six aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
