Rosalie Reese was born on January 1, 1940 in Bishopville, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Johnny and Odell Reese. At an early age, her family migrated to New York where she received her formal education. After graduating from high school, she worked part time as a dancer with the Parkettes. Later, she held various positions in local hospitals. She was a very pleasant person who always made you laugh. She was well known for dancing at the drop of a hat...she loved to dance. Rosalie departed this life on April 22, 2015 at the Terence Cardinal Cooke Care Center, New York, NY. Rosalie leaves to cherish fond memories: her son, Gregory Reese; granddaughter, Tiana Reese; grandson, Gregory Reese, Jr.; two great grandsons, Gregory III and Gavin; devoted sister, Pauline Stroman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
