With her youngest daughter by her side, Rosalee Johnson departed this earthly life on February 18, 2023, at 11:53am.

Rosalee Johnson was born in Hemingway, South Carolina.on December 19, 1948, to (the late) Jessie Johnson and (the late) Morgan Johnson Sr. She was one of seven children.

At the age of three, she moved from the South with her parents to Brooklyn, NY, in pursuit of a better life. New York City would become her forever home, where she would go on to create a legacy of five children and twenty amazing grandchildren.

Roselee was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie L. Johnson and Morgan Johnson Sr., her daughter Natricia Johnson, and her son-in-law Randolph"Randy" Simmons.

Rosalee Is survived and will be remembered by her two sisters: Mary Wright and Patricia Overton; two brothers: Morgan Johnson Jr. and Melvin Johnson; two sons: Raymond Jesse Johnson and Lamont Johnson; two daughters:

Aesha Johnson and Tracey Johnson; fourteen grandchildren: Taleyia, Ca-trell, Shaiya, Jamal, Bobby, Daquan, Trayvon, Dtahtiyanah, and Zanearee.Tatyana, Shantel, Za'Riyah, Tyree, Nye'lah, Sincere, Elias, and Abrielle.
