Robert John Cahouette, also known as Bobby, was born in Brooklyn, NY to his proud parents Joseph Cahouette and Lorraine Berkley on April 11th,1956. Although he was born an only child, his first cousins considered him a brother: Ramona(Mona) Brown, Crystal Brown, Kevin Brown(deceased), Toni Berkley and James Berkley.
He was a Marine who served his country well. After receiving an honorable discharge, he returned home to New York to serve his community. He worked for many years as a Security Guard for Asphalt Green Recreation Center and as a Voting Poll worker in Manhattan every election. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid coin collector.
Bobby departed this life on July 5th, 2020.
He leaves to mourn: his wife, Alicia Robledo. They were blessed to have 43 years of love. He also leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: his daughter, Twana Lorraine McDonald-Jackson; his two sons, Robert Kejo McDonald and Brayant Cahouette; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; his goddaughters, Melody Taylor and Fontae Carter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Bobby will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
