Raymond G. Daniels was called home to rest on Wednesday, December 3, 2013 after a short illness that brought him into the care of the medical team at Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan. His soul was at peace at his demise. Raymond was surrounded by his three remaining children whom he leaves to reflect on his life. We had no clue of what the Lord's plan was that day because Daddy, as we affectionately called him, appeared to be doing much better than when we first found him in ICU on that previous Sunday afternoon. Prayer was on the menu that day and God strengthened his children and escorted Raymond to that place of wait. Raymond G. Daniels was born at Rockaway Beach Hospital in Rockaway, N.Y. on April 9, 1934. Raymond was the only beloved child of Eula Mosley and Raymond Daniels, Sr. Eula relocated to 118th Street in Harlem. While living in Harlem, Raymond had the good fortune of meeting Pearl his wife and the mother of his six children. Raymond and Pearl remained married until her demise in 2002. Raymond was a good provider who did the best he could to always provide for his family, which was sometimes difficult. Raymond retired from his employment at Alton Box Company after many years of service. Raymond was an individual who never forgot to send a card on your birthday or Christmas. Raymond was preceded in death by his youngest son Craig Daniels (1993), his oldest son Raymond Daniels, Jr. (2001), wife Pearl Daniels (2002), mother Eula Mosley (2003), and son, Michael Daniels (2010). Raymond leaves to reflect on his life his three surviving children: Paul Daniels (Naomi), Georgina Richardson (Teddy), and Leslie Daniels; fifteen grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
