Pearl Claire Barkley was born September 8, 1954, to her parents, James and Bernice Barkley. Pearl, being the second oldest of four children, knew from an early age she was meant to educate and guide people down a path of truth and enlightenment. Pearl graduated from Julia Richman High School. She attended Sullivan County Community College, Upstate New York where she studied Biology, Microbiology, and different Science courses. There, she received an Associate's and a Bachelor's degree in both fields respectively. "Queen Pearl", as she was affectionately known, was a woman of character, morals and values. She instilled these principles in her three surviving sons relentlessly. Pearl departed this life on July 26, 2021 and leaves to cherish fond memories: three sons, Lord Harrison, GodRulAllah Harrison and Aston Barkley; ten grandchildren, Marcus, Devon, Allahna, Isaiah, Kia Lee, Malaila, Kalel, Jazmina, Victoire, and Aaliyah; four great grandchildren, Marcus King Barkley, Mia-Christine Barkley, Eliza Joy Barkley, and Elle Barkley; three daughters-in-law, Mally, Tiffany and Tanay; and a host of relatives and dear friends. Pearl Barkley was loved by countless others in her community and around the world whom she helped in their studies and with general knowledge in life in general.
