Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Whinfield was born in St. Anns, Jamaica, West Indies, on December 29, 1928 to her parents Inez Walters and Ruben Hall. As a young women, Mildred attended the Academy of Design in Manhattan where she majored in Textiles and Pattern Making. She sewed clothes for women and children. Mildred married Mr. Lascelles Williams and migrated to London, England where she had two children, Lauriel (deceased) and Pauline. In the 70's, Mildred remarried and moved to New York where she met and married Mr. Randolph Whinfield (deceased). Randolph was a big Band Leader in Brooklyn, New York. He taught Mildred how to play the piano. Mrs. Whinfield leaves behind: her daughter, Pauline Williams, RN; and her granddaughter, Maya Williams; her brother, Horace Hall; and many nieces, nephews in Florida and London, England. Mrs. Whinfield was a devoted Christian and known as the sweetest and classiest woman anyone could meet! Lovingly submitted by The Family
