Michelle Renee Norris was born in the Bronx, New York, to her proud parents, Christine Norris, and Cleophus Norris, on August 20, 1968.

Michelle attended elementary school P.S 125 in Harlem, NY. She then graduated and attended Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx, NY.

Michelle was a childcare provider for many years. She loved taking care of people. She was known for caring for anybody in need (even if she didn't know them). Michelle was LOVED by everyone.

She moved to Albany, NY, in 2016 and continued doing what she loved and caring for kids. She was baptized in September 2019 at the Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Michelle was the life of the party. She was always full of life and energy! She was known for her good cooking, which was a way to everyone's heart.

Michelle departed her life on March 25, 2023, and joined her brother, Cleophus Norris Jr.

She leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her five beautiful children, Ryhmel Norris, Janay Norris, Niaja Barkley, Tielea Barkley, and Imani Odum; her eight wonderful grandchildren; her parents, Christine and Cleophus Norris; her siblings, Tiger Norris, Doreen Norris, Alrene Brathwaite, Zanetta Motley, and Arnita Norris; her stepsisters; and stepbrother. She leaves behind her wonderful nieces and nephews, whom she treated and cared for as her own; her three best friends, Sondra Burns, Crystal Abdalla-Mitchell, and Patricia Cogdell; and a host of other family and friends.

Michelle will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
