Matthew Willie Quattlebaum was born to Katrina Morris and Willie Quattlebaum Sr., on February 26, 1988 in the Bronx, New York.
Matthew attended Dewitt Clinton High School where he completed his education. He worked as a Chef at many restaurants.
Matthew was a giving and loving young man. Matthew loved to give. He would give the coat off his back and the shoes off his feet. One day, Matthew was driving and saw a young homeless man. He pulled over and took his coat off and the shoes he had on his feet and gave it to the man and said "Have a blessed day". He was always helping someone. He would prepare meals at home and go out and feed the homeless.
Matthew loved to take care of himself as well as his kids. He was also the best dressed from a little boy to a man. When he stepped into a room, it would be all eyes on him. Everything had to match, hat, shirt and footwear. If it didn't match, he wasn't putting it on. People would say to him "You dress just like your mother", calling him little "Ms. Trina or Mommy Love".
Matthew also liked to write poems. He wrote a great poem for his grandfather, Lincoln Morris, who preceded him in death. That poem touched so many people. Matthew touched so many people young and old.
Matthew leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Katrina Morris; his loving father, Willie Quattlebaum; two brothers, Marcus Quattlebaum and Willie Quattlebaum; his children, Zion Quattlebaum, Kamarie White and an unborn child; his loving fiance, Jheanell Dixon; his grandmother, Pearlie Younger; three godsisters, Ebony, Iyana and Katina; two godbrothers, Shawn and David; three nieces; two nephews; three great aunts; one great uncle; four aunts; five uncles; numerous cousins; a very special man he grow a bond with, Roy Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
