Lillie Simon was born in Darlington, South Carolina to the proud parents of Johnny Williams and Mary Wright on July 14, 1934. She was the oldest of three children. Lillie attended elementary and high school in South Carolina. She met William Simon at Mayo High School. They married on June 13, 1954 and migrated to New York. Lillie attended Fordham University and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. Upon her marriage to William Simon, the union was blessed with two daughters, Linda and Teresa Simon. Lillie departed this life on April 25, 2020 and has gone on to join her beloved husband William, as well as her parents, Johnny Williams and Mary Wright and her sister, Mary Williams. She leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her sister, Wilhelmina Rodriguez; daughters, Linda and Teresa Simon; seven grandchildren, Lamar Sims, Giovanni Gordon, Brandon Mack, Travis Sims, Natasha Allen, Simone Simon and Horace Sims; three great-grandchildren, London Salazar, Logan Salazar and Asya Watkins; two nephews, Victor Davis and Anthony Rodriguez; three nieces, Felicia Rodriguez, Fidelia Rodriguez and Florinda Rodriguez. She also leaves a host of great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Lilliemae Simon will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. Lovingly submitted by, The Family
