Leon Robert Vaughn was born in New York, New York to his proud parents, Beatrice Vaughn and Bobby Chapman, on June 15th 1960. Leon was the third of seven children.

Leon went to high school in the Bronx, graduating with honors.

Leon met Lindsey in 1978. This union was blessed with three kids, Keisha, Lance and Derrick.

On October 4, 2023, God called Leon to be home with Him.

Leon leaves behind to cherish fond memories: one living sister, Syeeda; two granddaughters, Desire and Destiny; four grandsons, Treshawn, Derrick, Jeremiah, and Kayden; nephews, Pep, Louie, Kevin, Kennyatta, Dwanye, Donnell, and Zac; and nieces, Shavanda, Monique,Maquette, Desiree, Tiffany, Keisha and Donikqua. He also leaves behind Juilio, Justin, and Calvin; his best friend, Andrew Mackie; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who love him dearly.
