Joan Cofer, 65, born December 29, 1957, in Harlem, NY, passed away on February 8, 2023. She currently resided at the Harbor Village North Health and Rehabilitation Center in New London, CT.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Raven Cofer Hardison Cox (Craig); grandchild, Ellis Cox; and her son, Arion Cofer Hardison.

She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Cofer, Deborah Cofer, and Idette Thompson (Danny); as well as, two brothers, Keith Cofer (Theresa) and Varnaud Shamsideen (Renee); and a host of relatives and dear friends.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Morris and Mildred (Jenkins) Cofer; her brother, Aaron Cofer; and her sister Yvonne Roque.
