Obituary

Jacquelyn M. Brazier, born in Harlem, NY, was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She moved to the Bronx before returning to Harlem after having her two children, Junell and Carvon Brazier. Carvon married Vita Brazier, and they had three children: Julian, Ella, and Ava, in addition to Carvon's daughter from a previous marriage, Serae Lafache Brazier. Jacquelyn's siblings include Victor , Rodney, and Tracy had three children: the late Rashaad, Niesha, and Shane Brazier.
Jacquelyn also embraced many adoptive children, including Nazamma Bamburu and the late Marcy. Her spiritual sisters were the late Earline Jones and the late Gloria. Jacquelyn Brazier touched countless lives and forged lasting friendships. She cherished her family, adored her grandchildren, and had a deep passion for plants, herbal remedies, and natural products.
Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Jacquelyn always matched her purse and shades with her outfit. Her sense of humor could turn any situation into a joyous moment. She never missed her children's sporting events, supporting them wholeheartedly.
Growing up in the 50's and 60's with her veteran father, Aldolphis Brazier, and her mother, the late Isabel Smalls, Jacquelyn faced numerous challenges but emerged strong and vibrant. She was renowned for her culinary skills and love for family gatherings. A dedicated mother with a nurturing side, she always expressed her love and concern for others.
Jacquelyn held various jobs from home health aide , to taking part in elections across New York  City. She excelled in obtaining her GED and served as a meticulous time keeper for the city of New York. Known for her talents as a human calculator, phone book, and healer, she generously provided meals and crafted tonics and hair products for the community.
Her love for spirituality and worship led her to embrace the Sabbath and ministered to others in her best white attire. Jacquelyn's favorite color was purple, and she found joy in simple pleasures like enjoying her daughters's hot wings, engaging in phone conversations with her son Carvon and spending time with her adopted daughter , Nazamma.
Jacquelyn M. Brazier will be deeply missed by all who knew her . Her legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will live on the hearts of her family and friends.
