Obituary

Jacqueline Fiddmont Wilson was born in Harlem, New York, to her proud parents, Gwendolyn and Lavern Fiddmont, on July 5th, 1953. She was the third of five children,

She attended elementary school in Harlem, New York. Upon graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, she furthered her education at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. She then received her Bachelors degree from Hunter College in New York City.

Jacqueline worked and retired from the New York State Department of Correction, where she served as a trainer and officer in Albany, NY.

She met Lon Wilson, and they were married on February 16th, 1996.

Jacqui, as she was affectionately called, was an active member of the New York Walkers Club, where she was the backbone of a loving husband, Lon, as the administrator. Jacqui loves to sew and watch old English mystery movies.

Jacqui departed from this life on October 31st, 2022, and has gone on to join her parents and her brother, Charles, and sister, Elaine. She leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her husband, Lon; sisters Janice, Tracy, and Regina; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces; grandnieces; grandnephews; other relatives and dear friends.

Jacqueline will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

She was lovingly submitted by her loving husband, Lon.
