Gail Russell was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to her proud parents, Jackie Russell and Lillian Coles on May 31, 1954. Gail and her family migrated to New York, where she received her education in the New York City Public School System. Gail retired from the medical support field after 40 years. Gail loved playing cards, reading books, dancing, outdoors, traveling and her family. She departed this life on November 20, 2021 and leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her loving husband of 21 years, Lorenzo Forbes; one son, Parrion; granddaughter, Teynayin; three brothers, Elliot, Anthony, and Joseph; two sisters-in-law, Amy and Rose; two brothers-in-law, Earl and Stevie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She bade no one a last farewell, She said good-bye to none, Her loving heart just ceased to beat, Her stay on earth was done. She left many beautiful memories, And a sorrow too great to be told.
