Frances Elaine Jefferson, 42, entered into eternal peace on Monday, December 2, 2013, at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Elaine was born on May 25, 1971, daughter of Russell Edward Jefferson and Ruby Frances Murphy. She graduated from Martin Luther King High School and pursued a career as a Retail Clerk for a New York Sports Stadium. Elaine was an avid lover of music and loved to spend time with her family, Elaine was a very kind and fun loving soul; she had a generous heart, and was always giving to others. Elaine was predeceased by her brother Russell Jefferson, Jr., her grandmothers; Eunice Ann Murphy and Bernice Jefferson; her uncles; Ricky Murphy and Lee Jefferson and her beloved aunts, Tracey and Vicky Murphy. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her parents: Ruby Murphy and Russell Jefferson; her children: Daysean, Dajha and Damien Jefferson; one grandchild: Daysean Jefferson, Jr.; her siblings: Yolanda Jefferson of Bronx, NY, Elijah Murphy (Joni) of Virginia Beach, Tania Cain of Florida, Rudy Cain of Warrick, NY, Marquita Murphy, Rubydee Summons (Lamont) of Port Jervis, NY and Natalie Pitts of Bronx, NY; her aunts: Linda Simmons, Madina Jefferson and Desiree Murphy-Simmons (Jimmie); twelve nieces, four nephews and a host of other family and friends whom held her dear to their heart.
