Florine Green, beloved daughter of Josephine C. Green, was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on July 1, 1951.

After her family migrated to New York, she attended Julia Richman High School. She furthered her education by taking some college courses.

She worked at the Bank of New York for many years as an administrative assistant, before continuing on to work at John F. Kennedy Airport.

Florine was blessed with a daughter, Taifa Gale, and a granddaughter, Mc'Kenzie T. Brown.

My Mom's kind heart and spirit will forever be in our hearts and mind. My Mom's purpose was always wanting to help others and putting smiles on everyone's face. She loved to listen to music.

Florine departed this life on January 12, 2023 and leaves to cherish fond memories: her daughter, Taifa Gale; granddaughter McKenzie T. Brown; siblings, Gloria Green, Johnny Green, Elizabeth M. Green, and Henry A. Green; nieces and nephews, Tyrone F. Green, Beverly Thompson, Darrin E. Thompson, and Daryl S. Thompson, (all reside in New York City), Norman Green, Johnny Jr. Green, and Cortney Green (all reside in Orangburg, South Carolina), Stacy Green, Shonte Green, and Vioka Green (all reside In Atlanta, Georgia); and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
