Ernest Michael Jones was born on March 20, 1977, in Harlem Hospital, New York City to his proud parents, Diane Marie Phillips and Ernest Michael Jones. He was the eighth of nine children. Ernest attended Public School 92 and Intermediate School 195. He had various jobs. He was very proud of his community. You could always find Ernest (Stink) on 132nd and 7th Avenue with his friends cracking jokes. Everybody loved Stink from the Juice Bar to Lorraine's Bar. He loved riding bikes and driving cars. He was a jokester, kindhearted and trustworthy. He would do anything for his family. His crew of friends (Darnel Porter, RIP), Chris, Travis, Boom-Boom, Hal, Fish, and a host of others, always knew they could depend on him. He was loyal. Ernest, met Ebony Crystal Jones in Harlem and they were married on November 4, 2016. He was blessed with two sons, Farris Michael Jones and Drake Michael Jones. Ernest was preceded in death by: two siblings, Leslie Phillips and Julius Phillips. Ernest leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: his wife, Ebony; two sons, Drake and Farris; four brothers, Alvin Phillips Jr., Kevin Phillips, Troy Phillips, Farris Phillips and Jules Phillips; on sister, Donna Shamanie Phillips; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
