Ella R. White was born in Brunswick, GA on April 24, 1923. She was the beloved daughter of the late Carrie and Oscar Lee Jones. After completing her education in the Brunswick School System, she moved to Lexington, Kentucky. She was employed as a Housekeeper for many years until her health failed. After suffering a major stroke, her niece, Hattie Bradford, brought her to New York where she resided until her death. Ella was a feisty person who enjoyed having her own space and doing things in her own time. She departed this life on May 23, 2017 and leaves to cherish fond memories: her devoted niece, Hattie Bradford; her nephew, Booker T. Jones; grandnephew, Louis Bradford; great grandniece, Alize Bradford; other relatives and friends.
