Eddie Caldwell was born on September 9, 1959 in New York City to Eather Mae Gamble. He was the second born of four children.
Eddie received his formal education in the New York City Public School System. He graduated from Hialeah Senior High School, in Hialeah, Florida. In 1975, Eddie enlisted with the Military in the United States Armed Forces. He served his country for four years and upon becoming disabled, was honorably discharged. We thank him for his service.
After resuming day to day living, he spent his time, with his beloved family. He was a boisterous spirit and loved to have a good time. Eddie had a very distinctive laugh and when you heard it, you couldn't help but laugh with him. Some of the most fond memories are of his jokes about his life experiences and even yours once he learned of something he could tease you about. He collected coins, had a fondness for travel and liked taking his chances at the Casinos. He was a caring and generous person. You knew he was winning when he'd pop up and surprise you with a gift or two for you.
Eddie was called home on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022 to join his beloved mother.
He leaves behind to celebrate his life: his eldest sister, Della Mae; his younger sister, Iquan; younger brother, Willis; and a boat load of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
With love and cherished memories,
The Family
