Delores Little was born in Harlem, New York on October 26, 1936 to Ruth Hoffman and Rupert Coleman. She was educated in the New York City public school system.
At the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Allan D. Little. She married her life long partner in June 1956. Their union was blessed with two beautiful daughters Dorri and Donna. In September 1956, Al and Dee moved to the Red Hook Projects to begin their new life. The first person they met was 6 year old Sissy (Vivian Emerson). She became their oldest daughter, and Dorri and Donna's big sister. Dee (Khosi) loved Red Hook. She had no biological sisters but through love found her Red Hook sisters, Berta, Zenzi, Okute, and Ruby.
In the 60s, Dee pursued her other passion of modeling and fashion design. She became a Grandessa Model where she met Sicola and her other life long sisters. With all this love she has with her family, and her spiritual family...she was totally blessed She knew love and shared it wherever she was.
Dee departed this life on August 5, 2022 and has gone to join her husband, mother, and brother. She leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her daughters, Dorri and Donna; grandchildren, Allan dukeem fraizer (Elsa Fraizer), and Jai N Moye; great grandchildren, Destiny, Jaihad, Leviticus,Jimmy, Yadira, Alkeem, and Lailani; nephew, Gregory Woods (Shakim); sisters-in-law; Norma Vega, Ruby Little, Vernice Little, and Noreen Little; brother in-law, Allan Little (Butch); and and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
