Delores Hayward was born on August 10, 1954, to the late Mary Riley. Delores attended and graduated from Washington Irving High School. After graduating, she started working for the City of New York in Harlem Hospital. Later in years, Delores met her partner, Ron. They were together for 20 plus years, even after that they remained close friends until her death. Delores was affectionately known as "Dee Dee" to her family. She was a funny, spunky, cool, and calm type of gal. She enjoyed cooking, talking mess, and enjoying her favorite "Quench, her Beer". Dee Dee remained herself until life took a sharp turn and slowed her down to the bitter end. Delores was taken from us on April 4th, 2022 at the age of 67 and has gone to join mother, Mary; sister, Sharon; brothers, William, and Garret, and her nephew, Cedric. Delores leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: two sisters, Betty, and Ava; one brother, Gerald; seven nephews; five great nephews; three great nieces; one great great niece; and a host of family, friends, and neighbors. And last but not least, she leaves her buddy, Ron. Dee Dee will truly be missed. Lovingly submitted by The Family
