Dale Maurice Durant was born in Manhattan, New York to his proud parents, Virginia Brown, and Dale Durant on January 19, 1968. He was one of five children. He also had one sister with love and one brother with love. Baldy Mac, as he was affectionately known, attended school in New York City. He was also an extremely hard worker! Baldy loved life. He loved music, dancing, and dressing. Baldy was the "Mac Daddy" of attire. In high school, Baldy met Vanessa Weston and then later conceived a beautiful baby girl, Shakienya. Baldy loved his daughter with all his heart. He departed this life on September 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Brown; his father, Dale Bernard Durant; and his grandparents, Pearl, and Richard Durant. Baldy Mac leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: his one and only daughter, Shakienya; four sisters and two brothers, Daniel Brown, Hal, Tahniquia Durant Lloyd, India Johnson, Danielle Dursley Ramirez, and Tanya Smith; one sister-in-law, Alana Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
