Daisy Bell Martin was born on May 27, 1942 in Beaufort, South Carolina to the late Ruth Agnes Martin and Calvin Martin. Daisy attended Robert Smalls High School. She moved to New York City, where she lived with her sister. Daisy was a homemaker and caretaker. She attended Glendale Baptist Church. She loved to sing and care for her family. On August 10, 2022, God called Daisy home. She joined her parents, Ruth and Calvin Martin; four sisters, Alma Williams, Rosella Habersham, Martha Coakley, and Vernell Martin; and one brother, Calvin Martin, Jr. Daisy leaves to cherish fond memories: four children, Angela U, Ruth Agnes Martin-Diallo, Katrina Marie Martin, and David Thomas Martin; five grandchildren, Marilyn Martin, Shakeri Martin, Tajzae Martin, Takhari Martin, and Marc Martin; great grandchildren, Troy Barnes, Lacen Barnes, and Saige Martin; one brother, Joseph Martin (Agnes); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
