Obituary

Curtis Robinson was born to Queen Robinson on August 27, 1956 in New York. Curtis was educated in the public school system of New York and attended Aviation High School, studying Aircraft Mechanics. At York College, he majored in math and minored in accounting. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 1976, where he was a weapons mechanic. Curtis worked in many places in the city. Some of the positions he held were as a service technician and office machine repairer. He also studied martial arts. Curtis was a very spiritual person who loved to talk about the Lord. He loved to read, write, and play chess. He was very dedicated to his family, his children, and friends. He will be sorely missed. He departed this life on Friday, February 21, 2014. Curtis leaves to cherish fond memories: his daughter, Simone Robinson; son, Jerod Robinson; two grandchildren, Isaiah Curtis Robinson and X-zaybion Jahrod Robinson; mother, Queen Robinson; sister Sheila Patricia Robinson; brother, Christopher Robinson; a devoted partner of 18 years, Rhina Walters, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many, many friends.
