Brenda Deleston was born in New York City to her mother, Elsie Wright, on December 19, 1945. Brenda was the only child of Elsie, and after Elsie's passing, Brenda was raised by her uncle, Henry Wright.

Brenda lived in New York City, where she attended elementary and high school.

Brenda met William Deleston in New York City and married on August 14, 1965. The union was blessed with four children. Brenda worked for several years at Charles Green Fabric distribution in Bronx, NY, until she decided to stay home to raise her youngest daughter.

Brenda was diagnosed with lung cancer, succumbed to her disease, and departed on March 29, 2023, in the comfort of her family.

Brenda leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories: her loving husband, William Deleston Sr.; one son, William Deleston Jr.; three daughters, Marceline Belthrop, Antoinette Skinner, and Takisha Deleston; daughter-in-law, Tonja Deleston; son-in-law, Eric Belthrop; grandchildren, William III, Tonja, Darell, Tanisha, Arnell Jr., Taniya, and Genai; and great-grandchildren, Shanyla and Sabriya. Brenda also leaves behind a host of loving family and friends.

Brenda will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
