Blasina Suarez, 86, of New York, New York, passed away on April 23, 2022 in New York, New York. Blasina was born February 1, 1936, to parents Antonio Suarez and Carmen Acosta in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She immigrated to The United States, on July 11, 1952, flying into then Idlewild Airport, now known as JFK airport in New York. Blasina was preceded in death by her parents and her five siblings,Carmen Lydia Suarez, Elizer Suarez, Carmen Gloria Suarez, Miguel Perez, and Domingo Perez. She was also preceded in death by her children, Jaime "Papo" Martinez and Helen "Tita" Ramos. Blasina is survived by her children; Evelyn Corcino, Nilsa Perez, Miriam Martinez, Elizabeth Rivera, Carlos Pomales, Abigail Natal, and Moises "Toldo" Ramos. She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Blasina was a loving Mother and Abuela to her immediate family and a friend to all. With great sadness, we send her to heaven, but we find comfort in that she will be reunited with her many loved ones in heaven. In heaven, we can expect her to be happy, healthy, and to be all of our guardian angel until we meet again. Viewing for Blasina Suarez will be at the George H. Church Services, will be held at Saint Cecilia's and Holy Agony Church, 120 East 106 Street, New York, New York 10029 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with funeral procession to Rosedale Cemetery, 750 East Linden Avenue, Linden, New Jersey 07036.
