Anthony
Bell
Jun 10, 1980 — Jun 1, 2024
Anthony William Bell Jr., also known to many as "Big Pop, " Team Pop", age 43, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 9:19 AM at Harlem Hospital, born to Gwendolyn Bussey and Anthony Bell. Growing up in Harlem, he was quiet and kept to himself; he loved watching movies, listening to music, and being with his friends and family, making them smile and laugh. He believed in having fun and loved to eat. Growing up, he was always with his cousin Barry, aka Bam. They were like two peas in a pod. Bam was his road dog.
Anthony, known as " Big Pop," was a beloved entertainer and the life of every party. But his most cherished role was that of a dedicated father to his children. They were his strength, his reason to keep moving forward, and they transformed him into a better, stronger man.
Anthony is survived by his grandmother, Gracie Armstrong; his mother, Gwendolyn Bussey; his brother, Rayshawn Deas; his children, Anthony Bell III, Aiden Bell, and Amari Bell; his stepchildren, Ali and Aliyah Jefferson; his sisters, Aryanne Bell and Taia Bell; his aunts, Patricia Parks, Meme Bradley, and Rhonda Bell; his uncles, Williams Bradley, Michael Bradley, John Bradley, and Andrew Tolliver; a large number of cousins, other family members, and a multitude of friends who will all miss him dearly
