Alfred Green was born on January 19, 1950 and raised in Brooklyn, NY. The son of late Robert Green and Mary Belcher. He was the last of his seven siblings to transition before him. His siblings include Liz, Bertha-Mae, Ulysses, Joe Louis, Laura, Ronnie and Chester Jr. Alfred attended and was educated by the New York City public school system. He resided in Harlem, NY for many years. He was best known by his nickname "Dallas". Alfred met, fell in love with and married Myra who transition many years before him. They never had any children together. Alfred had great interest in music. He loved R&B music, some of his favorite artists are The Temptations, The Dells, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, etc. He enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling, Perry Mason, Cowboy movies, Leave It To Beaver, Matlock, etc. He also loved his cheesecake, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and coleslaw. When it came to fashion, he had his own sense of old school style. In conversations with Alfred, whether in person or over the phone he was bound to make you laugh because he had a great sense of humor. Alfred departed this life peacefully on February 7, 2021. Alfred was loved and respected by many and will be truly missed. He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his son, Kelvin Dickerson (Tree); his fiancé, Cynthia Williams; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Green and Selena Saxon; special nieces and nephews, Beverly Franklin, John Franklin, Denise Green, Ronnie Green, Ulyssses Saxon Jr. (Scooney), Maurice Owens, and Rolinda Moody; special family friends, Evelyn Greene (Momo), Robert Wilson (Bass), George Johnson, Peewee and Christine; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, children, grandchildren and dear friends too numerous to name. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal" May his soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
