It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father and amazing man, Alberto Berrios on June 30th, 2021 at the age of 57. Al, as he was known by many, was raised in New York and Puerto Rico leading to his passion of Latin music . He was a dedicated employee and worked at the New York City Parks Department since 1989. Alberto was born to the parents Martha & Luis Angel Berrios Sr. on December 24th, 1963. He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Krystle & Kimberly Berrios, son in law, Marcus Colon Sr. and three beautiful and loving grand children Marcus, Jaslynn and Layla Colon. Alberto was known for his sense humor, loving heart, generosity and kindness to others. He always lent a helping hand to others and never expected anything in return. His passion of music led to the nickname of DJ Al Ski. He was the life of any party. He touched all our hearts and will be deeply missed by all. Alberto Berrios memorial service will be on Saturday July 10th, 2021 from 9am-11am at George H Weldon Funeral Home at 343 East 116th Street.
